Rob Hansen believes the world is a better place with magic. Over the past two decades he has presented thousands of performances — for parties, festivals, and corporate gatherings throughout Colorado and beyond — and earned a reputation for the rarest thing in family entertainment: a show parents and children genuinely look forward to.
His secret is structure. Every performance is built around a single moment of impossibility — the birthday child producing Presto, a real and very spoiled rabbit, out of their own hands. The road to that moment is paved with carefully tested gags, audience-tested timing, and what one parent simply described as "the most incredible energy."
Rob lives in the Colorado foothills with Presto, a dove who has yet to forgive him for a 2019 routine, and a guinea pig who steals scenes for sport.
The Programs
Two formats, refined over two decades. Both end with the birthday child accomplishing the impossible.
A thirty-minute interactive program for children and the adults watching them. Builds to the appearance of Presto the bunny, produced by the birthday child themselves.
Forty minutes of larger illusions and three live animal partners. The format Rob brings to festivals, libraries, and larger corporate gatherings.
The Balloon Animals Add-On — a post-show balloon session — may be appended to either program.
